Notice of fraudulent communications
that appear to come from NYCE

The NYCE network enables members to use debit cards at all ATMs and merchants that display the NYCE logo. Look for this logo on the back of your card: NYCE

UNFCU has been informed that NYCE cardholders have been receiving fraudulent emails that appear to come from NYCE. The subject line reads “Limited time offer-enroll for eStatements”. Within the email, readers will find a link leading to a website strongly resembling NYCE’s real website, but ask for personal and confidential information.

If you have received this email, do NOT click on the link or provide your personal information. Please delete it immediately as it is a fraudulent email.

Be aware that NYCE will never:

  • Initiate communication directly with cardholders regarding any account or personal information,
  • Promote products and features directly to cardholders,
  • Request personal information, such as card numbers, PIN, etc. via the Internet.

Should you receive any suspicious emails, please delete them immediately, and most importantly do NOT respond or give out your information to anyone unless you have initiated the communication.

Please contact UNFCU in the event you have received such emails.
