Did you know?

Identity theft is the fastest growing crime in America.
...and growing around the world too. Criminals are continually discovering and creating new ways to steal identities. Everyday, thousands of people become victims of identity theft, by having their credit card stolen, by using the internet, by throwing away receipts into their trash cans, or just by sharing their information with the wrong person. There are many ways that one's identity can be stolen, and if precautions are not taken, on a regular basis, then the risk of becoming an identity theft victim greatly increases. Your attentiveness in protecting your information helps us serve you safely and securely.

What is Identity Theft?
Identity theft occurs when someone's key identifying information, such as: name, address, US social security number, tax identification number, account number or other personal information is used or transferred by an imposter to obtain credit, merchandise and/or services in the name of the victim. These acts can damage your credit, leave you with unwanted bills and cause you countless hours of frustration to clear your good name. You could be targeted over the telephone, through the Internet, or even by criminals digging through your trash.
