Give the gift of education!UNFCU understands the critical importance of investing in the academic lives of our youth. In 2003, UNFCU established a scholarship fund to provide tuition assistance to college and university bound applicants enrolled in UNFCU’s Start Smart Youth Programme. Since inception, the program has assisted with making higher education a reality for several of our young members around the world.UNFCU’s mission of serving the people who serve the world by enriching the lives of its members has been a driving force behind efforts to help our young members achieve their goals through higher education. By making a rewarding donation to the UNFCU Start Smart Scholarship Fund, you too can make academic achievement a reality for our younger members.
Essay ContestThis year two individuals will be selected and awarded scholarships based on current academic performance, interest in pursuing higher education (college/ university) and an essay. Applicants are asked to write about a cause that is close to their heart that they believe would make a positive impact on our world.All winners will be notified by mid-March 2009. Be sure to check back in March to see who won. We welcome donations to the scholarship fund so we can gradually increase the value and number of awards granted. |
