To make an online wire transfer, you have two easy and secure options. You may select either:
1) Create a New Payment
This method works best for a one-time payment. Simply click on Payments in the top navigation bar and then on “Create a New Payment” link. Enter your payment information and use your pre-established wire transfer password in the designated field. DO NOT forget to enter your Internet Banking password in the last field, as indicated, to complete your wire transfer request. (Please note that if you have not used eWires previously, please request a Wire Transfer Password Form by contacting UNFCU.)
2) Create a Template
The template is a convenient and secure tool for making recurring payments. If you are
sending funds to the same account and same beneficiary on a regular basis the template can streamline the wires transfer process. You only need to update the date and the amount, as indicated in the fields. A range of currencies, including USD, is indicated on the drop down menu.
To create a template:
- Click on Payments in the top navigation bar
- Click on the “Create a New Template” link
- Enter a name for your template (maximum 35 characters)
- Complete your request by entering the appropriate information in the designated fields such as Beneficiary Information, Bank Identifier, the ABA or SWIFT number, etc.
- Click “Submit” to complete the instructions and then click “Submit and Initiate” to execute your transfer.
