Use it for ATM/Bancomat Transactions**

UNFCU ChequeMate
Debit Card™
Like your ATM/Bancomat card, your ChequeMate debit card is
also linked to your UNFCU account. The key difference is that
you can use this card not only to withdraw funds from your
UNFCU accounts, but also to pay for your purchases made at
millions of merchants around the world.
Use it for ATM/Bancomat Transactions
Just like your ATM/Bancomat card, you can use your ChequeMate
debit card to deposit*, and withdraw funds, check your
UNFCU account balances, and transfer funds*** between UNFCU
accounts at ATM/Bancomat locations where the Cirrus, or
NYCE logos are displayed. In addition, your ChequeMate
debit card can also be used at thousands of ATMs/Bancomats
worldwide wherever you see the MasterCard®/ Maestro® logo.
Furthermore, your PIN protects you from unauthorized transactions.
Use it for Purchases
Your UNFCU ChequeMate Debit Card can be used at over
21 million merchants, from retail and grocery stores, to
restaurants, to the Internet, wherever you see the MasterCard
logo! It is a cheque-less way of accessing the funds in your
UNFCU Checking Account. For every purchase you make with
your ChequeMate debit card, the funds are automatically debited
from your UNFCU Checking Account.

UNFCU VISA® Credit
Card
Unlike your ATM/Bancomat or ChequeMate debit card, your
UNFCU VISA Credit Card – whether Classic, Gold or Platinum
Access™ – is not linked to your UNFCU accounts,
but is a loan that comes with a credit line. Every time you
use the card – to rent a car, make hotel reservations,
or buy books on the Internet – you actually borrow
the money against your credit line.
Use it for Purchases
Like your ChequeMate debit card, your credit card can
be used to make purchases worldwide - at over 19 million
locations where VISA is accepted. However, the key difference
is that your UNFCU VISA Credit Card is a loan. Whenever you
use it, you borrow funds against your available credit line.
At the end of the month, you can choose to pay your balance
in full without incurring any finance charges, or to make
only a minimum payment and be charged interest on your total
balance.
Use it to Get Cash
Like your ATM/Bancomat card and your ChequeMate debit card,
you can use a UNFCU VISA Credit Card with your PIN to get cash
at over thousands of ATMs/Bancomats or teller windows worldwide
where the VISA logo is displayed. However, unlike your ATM/Bancomat
and ChequeMate debit card, the funds are not deducted from
your UNFCU accounts, but borrowed against your available credit
line. And remember, when you withdraw cash with your VISA credit
card, you are charged interest immediately – as soon
as the transaction posts (is recorded) to your VISA credit
card account.
Perform Cheque Transactions
As a UNFCU VISA Credit Cardholder, for greater convenience,
you will receive free UNFCU VISA Credit Card Convenience Cheques
that you can use just like your personal cheques to make purchases,
pay utility bills or get cash at a teller window. But, remember
that unlike your personal cheques, with your convenience cheques
you actually borrow funds. And because convenience cheque transactions
are considered cash advances, you incur finance charges as
soon as the transaction posts (is recorded) to your VISA credit
card account.
