Relevant experience and qualifications

Incumbent UNFCU Board Director in the last 3 years and Assistant Treasurer. Board Director the RICS Americas (2015–19), a global professional regulatory body, which has similar worldwide membership as UNFCU. Extensive customer service career at the World Bank, UNICTR, UN Missions, IAEA, have given me the unique opportunity of participating in formulating strategic financial planning and monitoring mechanism for global organizations. My educational qualifications PhD University College London and MBA uniquely prepares me to actively contribute to the corporate strategic management direction of UNFCU. My personal result-oriented qualities of professionalism, integrity, ethics, and teamwork.

Candidate statement

I’m inspired to serve on the Board due to my strong desire to work with others in steering the UNFCU towards a sustainable future, sound governance, compliance with regulatory requirements, and financial management policies. Enthused by the mission of enriching the lives of our diverse global membership through access to new products and services comparable to the best commercial banks in the world. I wish to contribute to the strategic growth in making UNFCU a bank of choice for members and their families. Member for 26 years, I have benefitted from the voluntary services of others on the Board, and I now wish to put my financial expertise and time at the service of this noble organization.
