Transfer a balance to your credit card

You can transfer a balance for a loan or credit card issued by another financial institution in the US.

  1. Sign in to Digital Banking.

  2. Scroll to Loans & Credit Cards and select the card to which you would like to transfer a balance.

  3. Select Card Details.

  4. Select Request Balance Transfers.

Is there a fee for balance transfers?

Yes. When you transfer a balance to your UNFCU Elite or Azure card, there is a fee of $5.00 or 2.00% of the balance transfer amount, whichever is higher. When you transfer a balance to your credit card account, it is posted as a cash advance. This means that you will start to accrue daily interest at the applicable rate on the amount immediately.
