Relevant experience and qualifications

I have served as a UNFCU Board Director for 6 years and am Board Secretary. I have been a member of UNFCU for over 20 years with a range of accounts, credit card and a UNFCU mortgage. I understand complex legal, financial and governance issues from my educational background and over 27 years of work experience. I have degrees in law and economics (finance major) and am admitted to practice law in several jurisdictions. I have worked for the UN (for over 23 years), in private practice and in government. I worked on corporate sustainability issues for 15 years at the UN Global Compact and OECD, and for 8 years in digital tech policy. I have experience as a trustee of a university endowment.

Candidate statement

I currently serve as Secretary of the UNFCU Board. It is an honour to serve Members' interests diligently preparing for, participating in, and championing their perspectives at Board Meetings. I believe my work experience in law, corporate sustainability, inclusion and digital technology policy as a currently serving UN System staff member (for 23 years) and my educational background in law, economics (finance major), and humanities bring added value to the Board and its deliberations. I have been a UNFCU member for over 20 years. I am passionate about good governance, integrity, corporate sustainability, inclusion and a future ready secure UNFCU that serves all Members everywhere.
